Hi there! I am in Sacramento, CA and if any of you live in CA, you know about the horrible air situation from all the wildfires. Personally I have terrible scratchy eyes and sneezing and I am not allergic to anything!! Anyway, I have seen numerous news updates about the danger to small animals from being outside in the smokey air. My girlfriend last week came home to her baby that she keeps outside during work hours and her Yorkie was wheezing and had teary eyes. The vet said it was because of the air quality and their little lungs cannot handle it outside right now. I work from home and Pokey stays inside with me. My girlfriends baby is also coming over to play all day while her mommy is at work.
So anyone in Norcal, I just want to offer my time and help if you need it. Please keep your babies in!! If needed I will do a temporary doggie daycare during the bad air quality. I would be willing to drive if you are relatively close and let your babies out to potty if needed too. Anything I can do to help YTers with the health of their babies.
Pokey, baby and I are doing lots of indoor play to burn off energy and I only take them out every hour just long enough to do their doggy business!! So please PM me if you need some help!
p.s.....I know I should have posted this on the California forum, but I thought it would be read more here in general...so sorry if this upsets anyone!!
Thanks and keep healthy!!
Tana and Pokey
