Scooter has something like that to but when we went out for a walk, he had a run in with an ant pile. He ran right past it and and I didn't know one even got on him (he never stopped) until a short time later. He has a couple ant bites but they resemble pimples. They are on his belly and due to the lack of think hair around his privates, you can see them better.
I know what happened to Scooter because I took the ant off so it could be something similar. Since you are unsure, it may be best to get a vet to check and tell you.
