I work in a hospital as a respiratory therapist and we have lots of our furry friends come vist, it makes the patients very happy and a happy patient gets well faster and are more willing to do the things we ask them to do even when it hurts.
You are doing a wonderfull thing, making people smile and helping them get well faster!
Major Kudos to you and your furbaby.
Aww, what a wonderful and helpful post. Thank you. Therapy dog owners are warned of the potential dangers of visiting a hospital and informed of the precautions they should take. If we follow the guidelines, the chances of them getting or transmitting MRSA is miniscule. For me, it's a risk I'm willing to take in my effort to try to make a tiny difference in a patient's life.
