My doxie gets upset by fireworks too. He ran out the front door the other night and my husband was lighting a bottle rocket. Spike was trying to bite at it and it popped in his face. Luckily, he didn't get hurt, but he hid under the bed the rest of the night. From now on, all my dogs will be penned up during the fourth. Scary things can and do happen.
