This is so hard - especially having had his love for 17 years, what a blessing - the heartache is difficult to bear. I can only promise you that it will get easier in time. When someone says that, you think there is no way that will happen, but it will. You will then be able to enjoy your precious memories of your dear baby. Meantime you have us to turn to in your sorrow. We grieve with you. We will be here to listen and to offer you whatever comfort we can. We will all have to go through this pain one day, but I believe firmly that we will be reunited with our precious pets in the future.
