Sometimes the breeders from the puppy mills try to sell on there own for larger $'s then when they sale to a broker that takes them to the Pet Stores they get less $'s and then the Pet Stores bump the price way up. So not sure that you would get a better deal possible better than what you got at the Pet Store price. However I don't think you would want to support a puppy mill. I bet you can get some names of good reptuable breeders in your area from here. Why don't you try that or a rescue?
