I'm a flight attendant and no one ever measures the bag. It should be soft sided and squishable so that if you are on a smaller plane you could push it down a little. The middle seat on most planes has more room under the seat in front of you and some of the aisle seats won't fit a medium size sherpa carrier. So I would book a window or middle seat. Also it is very cold on the floor. I always wrap my carrier in an airline blanket before I put her under the seat so she will just settle down and go to sleep. |
