Sorry, but yes I'm pretty positive your puppy came from a mill... I got Roxi from a pet store, post YT, and I wanted to get another one, a boy, so I was thinking about going to the same place (same breeder and cut out the pet store all together!!) . But I waned to seek out the bredder personally and find out if she was running a mill. She had a USDA # and was from South Dakota. Jrsygal37 did a bunch of research for me, and yes, she was in fact from a puppy mill. I was really upset, and so needless to say, I did NOT go back to her!!! I got Rocco thru a reputable breeder.....
From what I learned from jrsygal37 is that USDA allows "breeders" to breed up to 250 breeds at the same time... I would def say talk to her, she is really knowledgable on the topic, and can find out if your dog came from a mill for sure...
