There are no guarantees. Fraud is rampant in every aspect of American life and whether you are speaking of AKC or anything else there can be untruthfulness. It's unfortunate, but you just have the honesty of the particular breeder to depend upon. Some wouldn't lie no matter what. Thank goodness there are still some good, honest people out there.
