Sometimes it takes the yorkies to like treats. It seems some don't like treats. I took an obiedence class and my yorkie wouldn't take treats even when I split them. I ended up having to take turkey and cheese to cut in small pieces to use as a training tool. But I would only use it as a tool to train in the beginning.
