as far as my line will go, i will offer stylish dresses for a low cost.
basically, my main concern is, how hard is it exactly to produce and sell a line of clothing?
i see others do it, and i have this dream of doing it also.

I should say that i am only 20;
however my mom is behind me 100%.
she encourages me with "You can do that!" and other things that make me feel that this dream is possible to reach.
my mother sews quite well herself, which she learned from her mother, my grandmother (who sadly passed when i was in 3rd grade.) but i know that she would be proud to see me continue in her footsteps.

i love pulling out my notepad and sketching up different designs.
i do believe being a young woman would help me design,
because i know what people are interested in.

so my main concern and reason for wasting your time is, am i getting in too deep??
It seems like this is a good business for not getting in too deep because you can start small, and many members here are willing to give you great feedback. It doesn't seem like a waste of time even if you discover you want to do something else later, you will learn many things from this experience, and it should help you become a better designer. I think being young does help because you are more aware of trends, and we old folks can't wear lots of the trends, but we like the look on our dogs. One thing I've read on other threads about sewing dog clothes, those serge machines are a great investment. Good luck with your new business!
