Wow first so happy that everyone is OK. Funny last year was Izzy's first fireworks and she was fine (she was only 6 mos) and she had no problem, so I thought this year would be a piece of cake. Anyway she was not and barked her head off too with the ones just going off in the neighborhood so needless to say I didn't take her to see fireworks this 4th. It's not worth it and luckily everyone was safe in your case.
I wonder, too, if your hand unhooked something by accident?
