I am posting some pictures of balut. Tried some baluts when hubby and I went to the Philippines on the 25th June for 5 days. It looked disgusting but it tasted pretty good. I just had to try it, I love trying new food especially food from different countries. Tried a lot of other local food in Philippines besides the balut. I had to buy it and try it in the hotel room as I was afraid I might end up gagging in the public but I didn't!
The guy who sold it to me even marked on the egg where I am supposed to start eating
