I don't have any suggestions, but it made me think of my yorkie Willy. We went thru the same thing with him - he never did outgrow it. When I let him out into our backyard to avoid wet grass he would crawl underneath our grill, then run around the perimeter of the yard along the edge of the flower bed, make a hop as far into the yard as he could, potty, hop back, then run back the perimeter, back underneath the grill to come back inside.
I think a lot of yorkies don't like getting their little paws wet. We have Oliver & Charlie now, and Oliver will suck it up and go. Charlie refused though. We've even tried carrying him out into the grass. He just freezes like a statue. We had such a hard time potty training him tho I guess I'm just happy he goes outside at all -- even on the sidewalk. |
