Scooter wouldn't eat when I first brought him home either. His breeder said to get substance into him ASAP! She suggested meaty baby food also, but at first Scooter wouldn't even eat that! I had to syringe feed him baby food! Eventually he started eating it on his own, but when I tried to mix dry into the baby food he would just lick the baby food off and spit the kibbles back out. When we went to the vet she sent me home with canned A/D food and he loves it, so I just had to gradually mix dry into that to get him on a regular diet again. He still gets the A/D mixed with his dry in the morning, but for the rest of the day he gets just dry and he's doing much better! So I'd say go for baby food and slowly mix dry into it, and if you can't get him to eat the dry also ask your vet!
