Hi, and a big welcome to you and Riley. Sorry to see that he was ill when you got him but glad he's feeling better. If he's eating well, he shouldn't need much Nutri-cal but a dab on your finger between meals wouldn't hurt, especially since he's been ill. It's good for a boost but shouldn't be given regularly to a healthy dog as it can cause a sugar spike in their blood.
