I used that when my Yuri was 6-7mths old and by the time he was 7mths his hair was as short as a pups.granted he looked like an angel at first.
you can use almond oil,or go to the pet store and try something formulated for dogs.
I can't recommend what I use now,I am always the one who strays from the road more traveled
