Do you trust your vet?
Honestly, something doesn't sound right.
They shouldn't have surgery for a shunt without a positive diagnosis.
What if it is MVD?
What tests have been done so far?
I'm sure you told me already but I can't remember now. So many people on YT are dealing with bile acid testing or liver shunt that it all kind of gets mixed up after awhile. |
It still isn't clear if the pup is liver compromised? Since he the fecal contaminants then, followed with the medication Baytril, Flagyl, interceptor, the 2 vaccines with lepto and corona, in them with in 2 weeks apart. He weighs less then 3 lbs. Actually 2.4 lbs.
Right now he is a fussy eater and gets hypoglycemic if fasting more then 10 hours. He has to have nutrical inbetween 10-1 am or someone better feed him by 7-8 am. He won't eat royal canin or eukanuba. He will eat science diet AD and activia, and newborn milk.
