Neuter.
I had Conner neutered at 7 months. He was to stay at the vet's office until 5:30 p.m. on the day he was neutered. The vet called me at 2:30 and told me I could pick him up. I went to the vet's office, and he walked out looking as he did when he went in. I couldn't believe it. He had no cone. The vet told me to wait a couple of hours before I fed him. He came home looking for dinner and it was a full-time job to make sure he was not jumping. He had a great night's sleep and was back to normal the next morning. I took a few days off work to make sure he was going to be okay, but I really did not have to. He came through like a champ.
