Well i can tell you that my boy Kuma i keep him short but thats mainly cause he is daddy's boy and his dad says he needs to look like a boy so no top knot, clothes or anything fun
for him, but with my Kaylee girl she is 5months and her hair is still changing but was never long and like you said thin, but with summer here and in the 90s we got her a puppy cut so she can enjoy her time outside specially when she is running around like a mad women at the dog park, after summer looking foward to letting her grow out so i can get her looking all girly!!!!!
