Omg

I asked the vet's office when I scheduled his appointment 10 days before the surgery if he needed to come in and be checked beforehand because I knew his teeth were REALLY bad. They told me that he would be fine because they would give him a shot of antibiotics before the surgery and send him home with some as well if he needed them. The swelling in them did ease off a good bit a few days after the removal. But now they are swollen back up, and bigger than before. If they were so sure that he had an infection to begin with then I don't understand why they would mention CANCER and get me all worried. I honestly don't know if they are giving him enough amoxicillin. He weighs three pounds and he is taking 25 mg twice a day. I wonder if I should go for a second opinion before they start doing all the testing for cancer. I know all of the tests can get really expensive.
