My 5 1/2 month old, Mabel, seems very constipated today. She's a picky eater but ate breakfast okay (about 8:30am). After that, she didn't want any treats.

I gave her some soft food around 3:00 and she ate it no problem. I also gave her a small spoonful of pumpkin.

She tried to poop but only got a little out. She kept straining until she gave up.

She has an appetite. Should I just wait it out? I feel so bad that she's uncomfortable. She's been lounging around napping all day.

She'll play if I try to play with her, she's just not herself.

Is there anything else I should try since the pumpkin didn't really do it?
