The first day they will be drowsy and won't eat much but he has been back to normal ever since. That was one thing that worried me when I was considering what to do. He used to mark his territory and that has pretty much stopped. He is doing great.
I encourage you to do it, especially if you don't have time or want to worry about puppies....you never know when they will run into a good smelling female. Ask your vet the millions of questions you have and the answers will help you figure out what to do.  |
this reply has helped me also. sammy is 8 months old and i am trying to decide whether to have it done. the thought of my baby going under scares me to death. one question i have is do they have to wear the cone afterwards. that things looks so uncomfortable to me and i dont want him to have to deal with that along with all the post-surgery things.
