Okay, the female is 9 pounds and 10 months. My yorkie is almost 2 and 7 pounds. Now, is it because she is a bit bigger that he gets scared? I don't think she is that aggressive. She is younger so she has lots of energy but is it okay to combine the two? Will my boy be miserable? The next yorkie is 3lbs. mellow and just had a hysterectomy. I ask the owner what happened and she said, "tootsies uterus had rupture and the doctor doesn't know why?" So she is much lighter than the first yorkie but now I'm a bit skeptical about her health. I think weight wise is good because my dog is gentle and will not hurt her. The owner says medical records are with the doc, duh?!?! and she is in good health. Both dogs are $300.00 what do I do? My dog needs a playmate. Please let me know what you guys think. Anything will help! Thanks, -g
I'm not sure what to tell you. The first Yorkie is full of life and Yorkies should be. They will slow down a bit when they get older ( around two/three). She will grow a bit more too (she is only 10 months). She sounds very healthy. The second one, how old is she? Maybe she is mellow because she is NOT all that well?
Your looking for a playmate not a health problem, vet bills add-up.
I bought a second dog for Sweetie, a puppy male. He grew to be smaller than Sweetie. At first Sweetie was to happy about a new friend but now they are like sister & brother. Sweetie acts like a big sister to Oliver. It is fun having two Yorkies but it is more work.
"Happy looking" but be careful not to get someones problem dog.
