I did the X-pen method and Katy Lou is very good about using her potty pad with holder. I'm not going to worry about her going outside until she has all her shots and I don't want to confuse her as she is doing so well. I think the trick to them crying to get out is to start out not giving in when they cry but to only let them out only when they are quiet. Otherwise they associate crying with "freedom". LOL When I put her in her little kennel for the night I cover it like the breeder did with a very light blanket. She fusses for about 30 seconds and then goes right to sleep. Also we have fans and A/C going so I think it is better to keep her covered at night. |
