 Update on son-in-laws mom
They took her to the er the 4th because she couldn't breathe and swallow. The doc said that the cancer has spread all over her body. She is extremely swelled. The got her permission to hook her up to a vent. Now they have her in a drug induced coma and paralysed. They started chemo again to try to shrink the tumor in her chest cavity so that she can breathe. The chemo WILL NOT do anything for the cancer. This is just to get her ready to go home and live out the rest of her days. I talked with my sil and his 2 brothers yesterday on what to expect (I went through this with my mom 10 yrs. ago). They know what is coming but still not prepared. The doc will keep her in a coma and on chemo for 10 days. After that we don't know.
Please continue praying for the family. This is very hard on them. She is only 50.
