I talked to my vet. The puppies and mama have quit vomiting and pooping and are all resting. Mama is seperated from them and he told me to keep nothing but water out for them. To check them every couple hours and if they start vomiting again, to call him back and he will meet me at his office to give them fluids.. He said that mama probably got into something potent when she disappeared that worked it's way through milk to the puppies. There is no sign of any infection on mama's teats and she appears to be almost dried up of milk. He said that since they are resting, that is a good sign and to look for them to become more active. I walked over to the xpen and they all stood up... That is a good sign he said.. I will continue to watch them and obviously will have a restless night tonight....Thank you for everyones help!!! |
