I actually bought one when we recently went on a camping trip because i was tired of getting entwined in leashes from Oliver and
Brooklyn crossing paths in front of and behind me, but, poor Brooklyn would want to visit with all the little kids that would stop us and she would be on her back getting belly rubs when Oliver decided he was leaving...only to drag Brooklyn on her back!! I wont be using it anymore after your story. My sisters dog had the same thing happen to him and she walked them all the time on a coupler. They are Beagles though and the vet had told her that this can happen to Beagles so i didnt think anything about the coupler being the cause...i have to tell her about it now. Thanks for your story and i am glad that your little one will be okay.
