Welll, I have made mine service animals so that I can take them with me everywhere. They do have to be trained to behave in public places and it is not hard, but you have to work with them as you go about the day....I use treats as training time and try to spend 5 minutes twice a day with each on commone behaviors.
Does your carrier have a hook in it to keep him in? Can't figure out how he got out? Mine aren't perfect but the more you take them the better they get and I have heard that they mellow with age. You can also get bully sticks and only give them to hom when he is in his carrier to keep him busy.
