I personally wouldn't buy a fake, just b/c I'd KNOW it was a fake. If I'm going to enjoy something with a brand name, I want the REAL thing. I'm not a big fashionista, but I would give almost anything for a certain burgundy Gucci Aviatrix bag
. And I'd never get a replica, b/c NOTHING would feel as great as opening that big Gucci Box and removing the bag from it's protective dust cover and smelling that leather

Plus, there's a place (or maybe a few places) where I live who were very "hush hush" mostly known to the rich ladies in town, who sold REALLY authentic looking replicas and at first, I was really tempted by a good friend who frequented the place.....one or two of the shops were raided by the police and EVERYBODY in there; staff and clienetele were arrested
. I don't care how much money I'd save buying a fake, it's definitely NOT worth being thrown in jail for!
