That's the only bad reaction I've heard about it other than it not doing anything at all for some. It didn't even make Spike especially sleepy or act differently at all except he wasn't afraid of the rain. |
Oh...I get it...I thought it was just for S&G

. Or just to keep them calm all the time? It makes more sense if the people are gone during the day. I was thinking it might be good for Madison to have it everyday, but Max is normally so mellow, I'd be afraid for him to have it (I mean, if he didn't hallucinate on it, of course). Hmmmm, maybe I should try Madison on it anyway. He loves going in the car, but he's a little TOO excited at least at first, maybe it will work on HIM

Yes, Max actually hallucinated (I may have given him too much, but I wanted to try it out right after I bought it when we were out of town and before we were coming back home. I was using the little dropper and I think too much squirted into his mouth) I'm really glad I did, b/c his reaction would have been really horrible if we'd been driving. My dh would have been driving off the side of a cliff or something

~ he can't deal with any distraction in the car.... There's no hallucinogenic ingredients in Reglan either and he hallucinated on it. Different things affect different dogs (and people) differently. And herbs are drugs also; they're just natural

I've heard a lot of other people say that it made their dog just like Spike....I just wish it had worked on Max in the car. I've also tried it on my dh (my girlfriend told me to put it on him behind his ears and maybe he'd calm down

)...I think he's just immune to anything peaceful
