LOL I am the same way
Get a few lingerie bags (the mesh bags for the washing machine) and put the toys in there. Wash as normal with a very small amount of unscented detergent, then do a double rinse with a cup or two of vinegar in the final rinse. Hang them to dry, don't put them in the dryer, as they'll last longer if you don't
I wash my girls' toys about once a month or so,and their bedding gets done every week when I do mine. The hard toys get run through the dishwasher on the top rack, then rinsed and air dried. I'm paranoid about germs too.
