I so totally understand what you are going through. My MIL lives with us and she is constantly trying to give my 4 Yorkies table food. She is 80 and has senile dementia so it is like having a 5 yr old child in the house. We ahve a pomeranian that is overweight has arthritis, ribs are stretched because of her weight. And this woman wants to feed my Yorkies table food to. I have to constantly remind her that she is not allowed to give them anything. I had walked in on her giving my 3 leftover chicken from dinner, I told her that the next time they have to go to the vet because they get sick from something she put in the chicken she was paying for it and any follow up bills. So far I haven't had anymore problems with the food issues. Now it's just everything else.
My only suggestion is to tell her a little white lie. Tell her Bindi had to go to the vets because of all the fries she fed her. If that doesn't work I would put some of the vomit in a plastic bag and show her the next time she comes over. Personally I have already told my Husband that my yorkies mean way more to me than his mother and her feelings. Sorry but they do.
