No dog parks here either- but we do have a beautiful park with paved walking trails- dogs must be leashed, but Banjo has a good time, just walking and sniffing evewn if he is on a leash
We live in the country- but I do not let him run out here either- still have a road close- and other animals!
I think the most importnt thing is just to get them out some!
