I think if you do buy online it is important to check into the breeder. I just got my Biewer Spanky online and I got references, talked to the breeder, checked with AKC and BBB. I talked to the vet that handles the litters verified all information first. I got a copy of the German register papers and confirmed them. I got a health garentee and medical records.
I took him to our vet and had over three hundred dollars of testing done to verify he was healthy. I took no chances. He passed with flying colors.
I got my little girl locally and did two home visits prior to getting her.
