 Getting Fleas From theVets?
Hi,
I had a dental done on my boy about two weeks ago, and when he came back from the vets I noticed a few fleas. I wasn't happy, but figured that the vet can't control what comes in and since he was there all day there were probably a lot of dogs in and out of the cages back there. I put some Advantage on all the dogs and didn't notice any more problems.
Then on Monday I took the two puppies in for their shots, and when I brought them back noticed fleas on them a few days later! Does anyone else have this problem at their vets? I think I'm going to find a new vet, one of my boys is really sensitive to flea bites and gets a rash from them.
Is this something that is normal? I've never had the problem before. The clinic seems nice and the vets and techs are all really nice and good with the dogs. I noticed when the puppies went in that there was a lot of dog hair on the floor, like the dog who had been in before had shed a lot.
