You really don't want to know how they do it. The breeder that I got my last one from put her chip in while we were there. It's kinda like a shot. The bore on the needle part is huge....well, I wouldn't want to get a shot with it. The chip is only the size of a grain of rice and they slide it into the needle bore and then place it under their skin and shoot it in. It doesn't take long to do but I could never do it. |
