I'm sorry she is back in the hospital. It is good that she is better and I do hope she continues to improve. It's been a rough ride for both you and her. I can't really answer your question about her weight, but I would certainly do some research on the antibiotic and ask questions of the doctor until you are satisfied you understand how it would affect her.
