Good luck with all of your reading. I have read all of those books except the last one but that was years ago. I was the same way, if there was something around that could distract me...it did and I let it. You just need to tell yourself that you are going to set a certain amount of time aside each day to read and have it be at the same time every day if at all possible because then it becomes routine and you will be focused because you know that you have set it up to be that way. Allow yourself time to do all the distractible things that you love to do and then get to work/reading and then when you are done, you can get back on YT or whatever it is that you really love to do. All of those books are great stories and they have wonderful lessons in them that are so important. Just like we have to train our pups, you have to train yourself to give yourself time to read and then reward yourself when you really have devoted the time you promised you would to reading.
Seriously though, I don't know what I would have done if I had 1/2 the distractions that students have now.....especially, eh--hem......YT. It would be difficult but then again, such a good reward for completing a chapter or two as well. You'll do great!!!
