Animal Smiley 019 Puppia

Scooter uses a Puppia Harness. It is a step in as well. He started with the x-small and now uses a small. I found them available online as no area stores carried them. A neighbor of mine has a 7 yr old Yorkie who travels between Austin and Paris a few times a year. She has used one for years but originally could only get them overseas. They cost around $20 and come in a bunch of colors. They are made a soft mesh (think basketball jerseys) lined with fleece so they are super soft.

Scooter had some harness fitting problems originally and a leg would slip through the area where the head goes. I found it much easier to slide it on and then use a safety pin to slightly clip the back making it a little tighter. The problem was his head was much bigger than his neck. With that, problem solved. He now fits perfectly into the harness.

If you need a different harness, look into Puppia brand. Good luck.
