A chihuahua at my shelter died today. She had no prior problems or symptoms until today. We came in and it was horrific! Blood was everywhere and she couldn't stand up. We took her to the vet and they did tests. They said it ws from toxic poisoning. She did not go outside and had no access to any poison. We had been feeding Pro Plan dogfood. Some of the other dogs had diarrhea a few days before today. Also a husky/collie mix died yesterday after being neutered. We think it was the food. If you feed Pro Plan I would be cautious!
