I just wrote this very long post and it must have been too long and didn't post. We were at my friends for Sat. Sun. and part of Monday, she and Taffy were having a ball running around. I always keep the sliding glass door open so they can run back and forth from the deck to the kitchen. She jumped off the deck she had been on hundreds of times (I take care of the kids 3 times a week) but she may have been chasing the cat) or so the cat and reacted without thinking. She won't even jump from the sofa because it hurts her knees. I was out of my mind when I saw her and she was still alive but they could do nothing. She broke her neck and other bones too. It was a peaceful death, I left a bucket of tears in that office and Dr. Willard cried too. Sheryl, Eric and kids were over last night and I told them if I had to pick a last day with her, it would be with Taffy having fun. I need a couple weeks but will be back. Hugs, Joan |
I know that this post was some time ago, but I just noticed it. I lost my baby, John Wayne, almost three weeks ago and I can relate. There really arent any words that can make the pain easier. I just want to say that if you need someone that can relate you can IM me or PM me anytime. I know that you are still feeling the loss and sometimes is helps to just talk. I am almost always online. I will pray for you and your family as well as your little one.
