Mufasa is kinda at the same place. Whenever I take him outside and tell him "go potty" he will. He sleeps on my bed all night long and hasn't had any accidents. When he is inside he still has a few accidents but it's more so poo than pee. I'm guessing he goes poo at times when I'm gone. I'm not crate training but I think he's doing pretty good considering he's only 14 weeks old.

I know he knows what "go potty" means because I can have him on my bed playing with him and out of the blue I'll say "you wanna go potty" and his ears perk up and he gets all excited. He will jump off my bed, run down the hall and immediately go to the door I always take him out of to pee/poo. I think that's pretty smart! I can't wait for him to be fully trained though but I know that it will take a while but I'm very happy with where we are at. I'm getting a belly band to maybe take care of the few pee accidents he has when I'm not home.
