Very good idea, Dianne. I hate trying to keep a journal but went and bought one for each of my girls. I am thinking that there are things that happen that I may like to look up and see if it has happened before. Like: Lady is coming in heat and I have noticed she hasn't been playing with Pirogue as much as she was. She and Pirogue are best buddies, they'd rather play with each other more than any of the other dogs. Now the question is: Did she act this way at the beginning of her last heat? I don't remember but I think so. Excuse me for saying so but, she has also become very "bitc*y". Did she do this last time? Again, I think so but I don't remember. If I had started a journal back then, I could be sure. LOL Even if I was and am wrong about her behaviour I at least would have something to compare it too. Also, when little things happen, things you don't think make any difference in day to day life, there are details that you likely(I don't) won't remember a year from now.
So I say go for it! It is a good idea all the way around. Sylvia |
