There were 5 pups in the litter. She did take the last 3 to her vet yesterday and they are fine. We can't carry them in our pockets 24/7.
I'm supposed to get one of the little girls and I'm sure worried about her. We think she's a parti, with spots on her feet, nose, and chest.
A friend of mine had the same thing happen with pugs last year. She lost the whole litter of 7 pups. Her vet couldn't figure it out.
Hypothetical - can heartworms be passed from parent to pup? My sister doesn't give her doggies HW meds.
