Allergies are pretty common. Unless this girl has such severe allergies that she's lost her hair, etc., I wouldn't let that stop you from adopting her.

She will probably continue to have allergies in your home, but I doubt she will be a "sick" dog. Antihistamines, a change in diet, even adding a fatty acid supplement like 3Vcaps can really help.
