the bigger the better for those with children.. the small puppies are too fragile.. the larger ones have a better chance of staying healthy in my opinion.. fewer injuries and fewer interested hawks too... but the ideal is 5-6 lbs.. i like them small but not too small.. i would not want one under 4 lbs..
