I have not personaly heard anything about the greenies calming dogs down. I would have to say they have just the opposite affect on my dogs, they go crazy for greenies. I try and ration then out, only a couple a week, because they are so exspensive. But when my dogs see me getting that bag out, they go wild. I really have not noticed any change in their teeth or their breath, maybe because I don't give them one everyday, but it does seem to keep them occupied for about 45 minutes while they are eating one.
It's worth it to me just to have 45 minutes to sit on the couch without being covered with yorkies. lol
