I guess it reall depends on the dog.
My spent the weekend with my baby after her spay so during the day I just kept distracting her every time she tried to lick her stickes. She had regular extrernal stiches. At night I would put her onsie on (0-3 month... she was about 5 lbs)
She also uses wee wee pads but didnt get up to pee at night much.. Plus I knew I would hear it if she did try to get off the bed.. I was a nervous wreck!
