That is true, but I would imagine that midwesterners will also chose east cost if given the choice because it is closer. In fact, I was asking Mike as we were driving home, why do they call it the mid west when it really isn't mid.. It was almost 24 hours from here to there.. over 1500 miles it is a little over 2200 miles to get to the east coast. I just think it would have saved a lot of trouble to first chose a coast, then chose a city. That way if the coast you are hoping for didn't win and that was going to prevent you from attending, then you wouldn't have to vote for a city. Only those who planned to attend on the chosen coast would be voting
